Uxbridge 2017 - Real Estate Market Statistics:
It's no understatement that 2017 has been an unpredictable year for our GTA real estate market. In Uxbridge Ontario, prices started out high in January - March then tapered off for the rest of the year ending with a roughly 25% reduced price from the first quarter. With the slow-down came price drops. Houses that just months earlier were selling within mere days were now sitting on the market longer. Sellers had to reduce their expectations and their prices.

2018?
The RE/MAX Housing Outlook Report for 2018 suggests that Durham Region will see a balanced market with equal numbers of buyers and sellers. The report expects sale prices to increase by 3%. There is some uncertainty as to the impact the mortgage stress test will have on the market as it comes into play in Jan 2018.
